Welcome
Maryam Khodaeikalaki, LPCC
Therapy is about change. My mission, as a therapist, is to help my clients find their way to creating balance and joy in their daily life by providing encouragement, feedback, and support. I believe all people have the ability to build a strong, healthy, and peaceful self. I have been working as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2010. I work with adults, adolescents and children to help them with such issues as anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, self-esteem, PTSD/trauma, stress, parenting, domestic violence, and anger management. Depending on my clients’ need(s), I utilize a mixture of treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy/DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, positive psychology and coaching to help them build more robust coping skills. I am also a Certified Forensic Counselor, a Credentialed Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Counselor (in New York State), and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor/Mental Health (in the state of Oklahoma). I am bilingual and can do therapy sessions in Farsi/Persian as well. I practice in the states of California, Oklahoma and Virginia.
